Validity period of 485 visa grants post 1 July impacted by glitch

Some Temporary Graduate (Post Study work) subclass 485 visa approvals issued over the past few days are impacted by a glitch.

Consequently, number of visa grants have been issued with incorrect two years validity period where the applicants are eligible for three or more years.

The Department of Home Affairs announced they are aware of the glitch and endeavour to rectify the issue, review the impacted visa approvals and grant visas with the correct validity period by the end of July.

If impacted applicants do not receive their new visa approval by the end of July, they need to contact the Department of Home Affairs via the Global Feedback Unit.
