State & Territory allocation of skilled migration 2023-2024

Each fiscal year the Federal Government allocates certain number of spots available to the Australian states and terrotories under the general skilled migration program comprised of the independent subclass 189 visa, the state or territory nominated subclass 190 visa and the regional state or territory nominated subclass 491 visa.

The total general skilled migration program for the current fiscal year 2023 - 2024 has 30,375 spots of which the Federal Government allocated the following to the states and territories
